1. Summary

The Extension stores your recovery notes and settings locally in your browser. It does not send data to any external servers and does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking.

2. Data We Process

The Extension processes the following data strictly to provide its functionality:

  • Recovery notes you enter (brain dump and action items).
  • Meeting metadata (meeting URL and title) from the Google Meet page at the time a recovery is triggered.
  • Extension settings (enabled, auto-trigger, minimum meeting duration).

3. How We Use Data

We use the data solely to:

  • Show your recovery history inside the Extension.
  • Display your latest recovery in the popup.
  • Respect your settings (e.g., auto-trigger on/off).

4. Storage and Retention

All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's local extension storage.

Data remains on your device until you delete it via the Extension's "Clear history" action or by removing the Extension.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, transfer, or disclose your data to any third parties.

6. Permissions and Access

The Extension requests the following permissions:

  • storage: to save your settings and recovery history locally.
  • tabs: to detect whether the active tab is a Google Meet page for the manual trigger UI.

The content script runs only on https://meet.google.com/* to detect when a meeting ends and to collect the meeting title and URL for your recovery history.

7. Security

We keep your data local to your device and do not transmit it. You control your data and can delete it at any time.

8. Your Rights & Choices

Under GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your data, and to object to processing (Articles 15–21 GDPR). Since all data is stored locally in your browser, you can exercise these rights directly by clearing your history or removing the Extension.

  • You can disable auto-trigger or the entire Extension in settings.
  • You can clear your stored recovery history at any time.

For any questions, contact webmaster@blocksize.one.

9. Children's Privacy

The Extension is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect data from children.
